EIM PRODUCT SCORING

ToxServices has partnered with Jeanologia to assess and score formulations against the EIM Chemical Impact Scoring Rules.

EIM Registry Options

Option 1

Chemical suppliers provide documentation of a formulation’s current ZDHC MSRL conformance (such as a ChemCheck report), in addition to submitting an SDS for each formulation they would like scored and listed in the EIM platform.

Option 2

Chemical suppliers can boost their EIM Chemical Impact Score by disclosing 100% of a formulation’s ingredients. The fully disclosed formulation is assessed using the GreenScreen List Translator and is scored for listing in the EIM platform.

Option 3

A Screened Chemistry certificate is used to calculate an EIM Chemistry Impact Score.

Steps for EIM Chemical Scoring with ToxServices:

  1. Provide required chemical ingredient disclosure and certification details to ToxServices for EIM scoring, along with identification of whether you would like to pursue Option 1, Option 2, or Option 3 screening

  2. ToxServices will provide the EIM score to you and Jeanologia for inclusion in the EIM platform as well as ToxServices’ EIM Registry

  3. EIM Scores need to be renewed every three years (or earlier, if you revise your formulation)

ToxServices’ expert scientists will review your submission and calculate an EIM Chemical Impact Score and Certificate.  Based on the level of disclosure provided and assessment results, your EIM Chemical Impact Score will range from 0-100:
